Submission Requirements

 

We welcome submissions of your LANAP cases to be included on this website.  There are strict criteria that must be adhered to, so please review the list below and then click on the button below to submit your case.

  1. All cases must be typed, double spaced in 12 point Times New Roman font.
  2. Case reports should include pertinent medical and dental histories involved. Pre-op, and post-op probing depths/clinical attachment levels should be included where possible.
  3. Case reports must include a narrative describing the author’s diagnosis and rationale for treatment with LANAP/LAPIP or in the case of non-LANAP patients , the PerioLase MVP-7 laser for adjunctive therapies.
  4. Include your name, address, contact info, specialty (GP, periodontist), and number of years of LANAP experience
  5. Attach full color, un-altered pre-op, post operative photos and x-rays in .jpg format.   Include 1-year follow up where indicated/possible.  Video submissions are accepted in .wmv or quicktime format.
  6. By submitting your case, you confirm that all case data is accurate, no images have been altered, and you have permission to post the patient’s data.

If your submission is not used in the current publication, you will be apprised in a timely fashion if it is to be used in a future publication.
If your submission is a follow-up to previously published case report, notification should be as such. These updates will be published under “Editor’s Notes.”

Published case reports will automatically become archived.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL CASES WILL BE PROPERLY ATTRIBUTED TO THE TREATING CLINICIAN AT ALL TIMES.
